This Southern Utah Poster is one of eight that I have produced from the stunning canyon country of Utah which includes Zion, Bryce, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. 

When entering Zion National Park from the east, along the Zion - Mt. Carmel Highway, the first time visitor is introduced to a landscape that conjures up countless questions pertaining to how were these magnificent shapes and patterns created. As a photographer, your eye is kept constantly busy, as literally each new bend in the road offers endless opportunities for interesting and dramatic images. One of my favorites is this solitary pine tree which has managed to carve an existence from the top of this rock. The Navajo Sandstone, that makes up so much of this incredible park, offers a fantastic foreground for this image.
