About "Green River Overlook"
This Fine Art Canyon Image, from the dramatic
canyon country of
Southern Utah, was captured in
Canyonlands National Park. From a geologic standpoint, I've always found this view to be so interesting because it literally shows a canyon within a canyon. When my brother Patrick first peered over these steep canyon walls at the inner canyon of the Green River, he described it as looking like an "acid burn"... as if some greater entity had poured acid on the floor of the main canyon. Today, that analogy still holds very true.
