Poster Information
The overall image quality (resolution and color) of my posters really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. Computer monitors, due to their limitations, simply cannot accurately show the incredible detail and vibrant color that exists in my posters. For your peace of mind, all posters come with a complete satisfaction
guarantee.
All of my posters are lithographs and have been printed on Heidelberg Speedmaster presses using fade resistant inks. My original images were scanned using a Hell 3800 series drum scanner. All posters are printed on premium grade paper, either 80 or 100 lb. gloss white cover stock. The only exceptions are my two earliest images of Mt. Rainier ( "
Autumn Storm Clouds", and "
Morning Mist") which were printed on a 70 lb. premium grade, gloss white cover stock. The majority of my posters have received an aqueous coating for added life and protection. Several of my earlier posters received a varnish coating for protection.
Framing Information and Ideas
All of my posters are 18" x 24" (46cm x 61cm) which is a standard frame size. This helps in reducing the cost of displaying the images as opposed to paying considerably more for custom made frames. My personal preference is a nice black frame with no matting (additional cost savings) which, as you can see, looks very elegant and professional. If you illuminate the images with spot or flood lighting, the affect can be spectacular.
The other advantage of using a standard black frame is that it is very easy to switch out several, or all of the posters to fit your mood. It takes no time at all to switch from a
Southern Utah theme to a
Cascade, or
Sierra Mountain theme. You could also pick images solely based on their color to tie in with your existing furnishings, or other home accessories. Since no mats are involved, you don’t have to be concerned with matching mat colors to a specific print. I personally prefer a collage of several posters which can add an absolutely stunning splash of vibrant color to any room. The pictures below add a very sophisticated, classy touch to this living room. This same stylish appearance could be applied to a family or game room, business office or professional office lobby.

As with all paintings, or photographs, you should always try to position your artwork so that it is not in direct sunlight. This will extend the life of your artwork considerably.
